The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abia State has told Governor Okezie Ikpeazu to paste his posters only on projects executed by his administration.

Ikpeazu had urged anyone contesting for any position, especially governorship, to identify projects executed by him/her by pasting posters on such projects.

The APC, which toured some projects executed by the Ikpeazu-led government, was apparently irked by what it met on ground. It thus told Ikpeazu to fulfill his promise by directing his supporters to paste his posters on projects his government executed.

The Publicity Secretary, Comrade Benedict Godson, who addressed reporters in Umuahia, noted that the government has resorted to media hype of incomplete, abandoned and substandard projects.

According to Godson, the party was baffled with the fact that most of the projects were only done and completed on radio, even as he wondered why the Ikpeazu-led government has embraced deceit rather than deliver dividends of democracy to the people.

The spokesman said most of the projects the government is claiming to have attracted or executed were awarded by the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC). He said it was laughable that someone who has nothing to offer the people would make boastful claims that will ridicule his government.

Godson said the APC will the narrative of PDP’s misgovernance in the state, and enjoined Abians to voted out all the PDP candidates in February and March.
